Bernard and Tina Buswell Husband and wife duo. Beautiful instrumental guitar, jazz standards, gospel jazz. Bernard has been playing guitar for 26 years. Jazz styling has always been his passion. He has a unique sound largely from the wide use of harmonics and melodic improvisation. Favorites and influences are Pat Metheny, Tuck Andress, Allan Holdsworth and John Scofield. Tina has been a singer since the age of three. She has a similar styling to Norah Jones. Tina has a very sweet quality to her voice. Much emotion is felt as she sings songs that touch her, such as the 'The Nearness of You' originally recorded in 1937 by one of its writers Hoagy Carmichael. If you are looking for a night of sweet jazz ballads and/or very unique harmonic guitar styling or would like to hear some original gospel jazz, contact Bernard and Tina. |
